Barça Set to Play Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday

The club confirmed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Basque side in the Spanish league two and a half years following their departure to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Stadium Testing

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium on 7 November. They mentioned they were hoping for permission by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side on 9 December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
